New Year Sangamam & St.George Puraskar, 2011 organized by the National Council of Indian Christian Movement has held at Cochin on 23.1.2011. The New Year Sangamam has inaugurated by His Lordship Justice Shri. J. Chelameswar, the Chief Justice of Kerala and he had delivered the St. George Puraskar, 2011 to Sri. P. Vijayan IPS, Presently working as Commissioner of Police, Calicut City. While inaugurating the function, his Lordship commenced that all the religions are means to reach the God which enables the human being to do justice to others. The President of ICM Sri. J. Alexander IAS presided the Sangamam. Justice Sri.K.Thankappan, Retired Judge of High Court of Kerala declared the news of Puraskar. His Grace Elias Mar Athanacius, Bishop of Jacobite Syrian Churches, India blessed the occasion and become the Chief Guest. Sri. M.M.Monai MLA, Sri.A.N.Radhakrishnan, General Secretary of BJP, KCBC Deputy Secretary and Spoke Person Dr. Rev. Steephen Alathara, V. Rev. Fr.
